We reaffirm that every child has the right 'to grow, learn, play, develop and flourish with dignity'. World Vision Afghanistan is dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of Afghan girls and boys, and helping them thrive. This entails including them in the decisions we make that affect their lives and their communities.
By listening to them and making sure their opinions count, we recognise their inherent value, reinforce their agency, and give them reason to believe that their future can be full of possibilities.

RD Congo : Myriam Nongo Transforme des Vies Grâce à sa Vision Renouvelée du Changement
Myriam Nongo, 54 ans, vit à Fungurume (RDC), où elle dirige l’Association locale des personnes handicapées, soutenant plus de 50 membres. Mère de quatre enfants et tutrice de sept orphelins, sa vie a changé après avoir suivi la formation “Empowered World View” de World Vision en 2023. Inspirée par ce programme, elle a lancé une activité de vente de beignets et d’élevage de poussins, et a formé un groupe d’épargne pour aider d’autres femmes handicapées à entreprendre. Portée par la foi et la détermination, Myriam rêve désormais de créer un centre éducatif pour enfants handicapés, montrant ainsi que la transformation commence avec du courage et la force de la communauté.
